316L stainless steel is a high quality, low carbon rod for welding of stainless steels. Suitable for the general welding of other 300 series stainless steels including 302 and 304 as well as ferritic stainless steels grades such as 409, 444 and 3Cr12. 316L offers excellent resistance to general corrosion from organic and inorganic contaminants. Our high purity fillers have sensational flow characteristics and produce exceptional welds that are free of cracks, Fusion defects and other problems which inferior wires are prone to. Each rod is individually stamped or laser engraved with its grade identification marking. Beware of cheap, inferior product which is non identifiable once removed from its packet. All our TIG wire is individually packed, labeled, and is transported in a sturdy tube or box which ensures your wire stays in great condition during transport
