Product Information & Types
Material & Finish: Made from carbon/mild steel and feature a hot-dipped galvanised (HDG) finish, which offers superior protection against the elements and minimises corrosion.
Strength Grade:
No Colour / Unmarked: Typically Class 4.6 or 4.8 (Mild Steel). These are for general-purpose, non-structural use.
Yellow: Class 8.8 (High Tensile). This is the "standard" high-strength rod used in construction and machinery.
White: Class 10.9 (Very High Tensile). Used for heavy-duty industrial or automotive applications.
Sizes & Lengths: Common metric diameters (M) range from M6 to M36, with typical lengths of 1 metre (1000mm) and 3 metres (3000mm). They can be cut to a specific length as needed for a project.
